Local vocalist Gaida’s recent CD, Levantine Indulgence, is a song sequence of alluring beauty, steeped in the traditional music of her Syrian heritage but also showing the eclectic worldview of a New York singer-songwriter. Tonight she celebrates the record and Arabic Mother’s Day at the same time.
