Yemen Blues featuring Ravid Kahalani, the former vocalist for the Idan Raichel Project, is gaining international acclaim at concerts across Europe and Canada. National Geographic's World Music column recently stated, "Led by the ridiculously charismatic singer Ravid Kahalani, the nine-piece ensemble combines traditional Yemenite melodies and instruments - including all sorts of percussion; even empty jerry cans! - with jazz, blues and funk to come up with a sound that's like nothing we've ever heard before - and that we're definitely looking forward to hearing again soon."
