Brooklyn-based emcee Blitz The Ambassador is set to release “Native Sun”, the follow up to his 2009 album, “Stereotype”.

Blitz has released “Dear Africa” featuring French Grammy nominated singing duo Les Nubians.  In the song, Blitz pens a letter to the continent of his birth as an ode to Africa’s “beauty and history.

The emcee, who is originally from Accra, Ghana says, “Native Sun the album is a journey backwards, back through hip hop, the Caribbean soundsystem culture that preceded it, back to its African roots…”

“Native Sun” will be available May 6th along with a short film and feature on the first single.
