So, y’all know that Blitz’s new album Native Sun drops on Tuesday, May 3, right? I’ve already previewed one of my favorite album tracks here. In addition to the album, Blitz and his team put together a full-length film, set in Ghana, to which he’s added the album, in track order, as the soundtrack. It’s a nice way to experience this album, which is really about Blitz grappling with his conflicting emotions about being an immigrant. 04/30/11 >> go there
