Beck Covers John Martyn

The beloved British folk-rock singer-songwriter John Martyn died back in 2009, and the new double-CD compilation Johnny Boy Would Love This features folks like Devendra Banhart, Vashti Bunyan, and Martyn collaborator Phil Collins paying Martyn tribute by covering his songs. We’ve already posted Robert Smith’s take on “Small Hours.” And now here’s another cut from the tribute album: Beck doing a downbeat, string-drenched version of “Stormbringer.”
