Romantech is an album by the New York Gypsy All Stars, an eclectic quintet that unites musical traditions of Greece, Turkey, and America into a freewheeling whole. Their creations have a strong, positive quality that promotes good feelings in the listener. From "Balkan Bollywood", a song mixing Turkish melody with Balkan flair, to "Romantek", a piece that layers techno beats and the use of the Turkish longa, Romantech displays hybrid vigor at its finest, and is highly recommended especially for private and public library international music collections.
