The third annual PNC Children’s Festival at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland offers both free activities and ticketed performances the weekend of May 4-5.
Shows in the lineup of internationally themed performances include: “Squirm Burpee,” performed by Handsome Little Devils (USA); “Baobob,” performed by Le Theatre Motus (Canada); “Emilio and the Enchanted Cow,” performed by Marionetas de la Esquina (Mexico); “World of Rhythm,” performed by Drums United (a worldwide ensemble); and “Zorro,” performed by Visible Fictions (Scotland).

Free events offered throughout the day Saturday include children’s craft workshops at the Idea Center; a Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital Wellness Walk; family art activities; international children’s short films, shown at the Gund Dance Studio from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and performances of “Les Moutons,” by Canadian group CORPUS, at 12:40 and 2:20 p.m.
