The inaugural Guitar Mash Concert and Jam on November 11th, 2012 is a multi-platform initiative to bring players of all backgrounds together to celebrate the merits of this ubiquitous instrument.

In this podcast we talk with founder Rebecca Weller, who also created the “Midsummer Night Swing” festival at Lincoln Center. Rebecca reflects on how she came up with the idea, and introduces us to other guests and headliners including Mark Stewart who plays with — among others — Paul Simon, chef and guitar collector Tom Colicchio, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
