A city-wide celebration now in its ninth year, CMN highlights contemporary Mexican artists of nearly every persuasion. From film to dance, music, food, and architecture, the week-long fest features talents like up-and-comer Selma Oxor, and MTV Artist of the Week candidate and harp virtuoso Celso Duarte. Another highlight is Saturday's "Juguetes [Toys]" Family Day at the Queens Museum, a puppet show of traditional Mexican toys with an accompanying hands-on workshop.
