"Fela!," the Broadway musical about the Nigerian Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti, is returning to Chicago for a week in February. Yet more surprisingly, the Arie Crown Theater, which has been on ice of late, once again has a Broadway-style show within the bowels of McCormick Place.

"Fela!," which will play Feb. 19-23, is not a Broadway in Chicago presentation. The production, staged by Bill T. Jones, was a big critical hit in London, New York and Chicago, although the cast and scale of the show this time around likely will be different (no details yet).
