July 20 Central Park Summerstage, 3 to 7 p.m.: Besides Planet Hemp, the event also features the dynamic style of Emicida, who comes straight outta the favelas of Sao Paulo. Also, there’s Gaby Amarantos, who epitomizes the Belem-based style known as tecnobrega (cheesy techno). The style specializes in campily re-created versions of ’80s dance music, aided by Amarantos’ theatrical presence.
