Stick Against Stone: Eugene Saturday Market Recording Released After 30 Years

The Pittsburgh band Stick Against Stone merged punk with global rhythms. They moved to Eugene in the mid-1980s, and recorded a show at Eugene’s Saturday Market in 1985 just now being released on CD as The Oregon Bootleg Tapes. Now a new version of the band, the Stick Against Stone Orechestra, is getting national attention. Eric Alan talks to Will Kreth about the music and politics then and now.
