            "Ancient Echoes: Music from the time of Jesus and Jerusalem's Second Temple" is a collection of tunes, songs and prayers performed by the San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble (SAVAE).

The group, which debuted in 1989, uses reproductions of ancient wind, string and percussion instruments from Latin America and the Middle East to perform music that dates back to Jesus' time.

SAVAE will be in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sandy Springs United Methodist, 86 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Tickets $10. 404-255-1181. www.savae.org.
