If you hear the sounds of the oud, the shabbabah or the dumbek on Sunday afternoon in downtown Cincinnati, don't fret: You've probably wandered into the program at Saint Peter in Chains by the SAN ANTONIO VOCAL ARTS ENSEMBLE, which made its name singing early music from Latin America. For this concert, they'll perform on ancient musical instruments -- including those I've named here -- and singing pieces from the time of Jesus and Jerusalem's second temple, bringing to life works from 2,000 years in the past including the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic (the language Jesus spoke) and a chant recorded in the Dead Sea Scrolls. 513-421-2222.
