Morgan Freeman to grace SABC round table at Sithengi


The inaugural SABC CELEBRITY ROUNDTABLE AT SITHENGI 2006 is an exciting conversation that will explore various ways in which South Africa is positioning itself as a country with world-class film locations, a sound economy, expert technical, creative talent, and a wealth of stories reflecting the greatness of our people.

We have a multi-disciplinary panel which goes beyond the discipline of film and filmmaking. We believe that the broad experience of this team will enrich and bring diverse perspectives which will serve to inform our journey into the future.

Our esteemed panel will discuss, amongst other things - how the Hollywood model can be adapted and rooted within an African context. They will also discuss opportunities for great South African content to travel globally via the exciting new media platforms of the 21st century.
