In the Marketplace, All is Subterfuge: The first Jews came to this country from Brazil and the leader of the Klezmatics goes off on one of his side trip bands to celebrate the 350th anni of the date by mixing carnival music with Jewish music. Take that all those who feel disenfranchised by Christmas music with no alternative. With this kind of genre splicing at the core, don't be surprised as you listen to this date and find that London doesn't even feel compelled to follow the rules he makes. Completely nutty date that isn't afraid to go over the top at will and at large to create a wild, world beat listening experience that's as off beat as it is hard to top. 12/14/05
