Frank London's Ktezmer Brass Allstars

Trumpeter Frank London is an ever-present figure in the Klezmer revival, playing with bands from the Klezmatics to Hasidic New Wave. The Brass Allstars are a comically overstaffed side-project, marrying the plaintive melancholy of Klezmer to the ramshackle boisterousness of eastern European brass band music. On Carnival Conspiracy "A Time Of Desire", with throbbing, dub-heavy mix, points one way forward for music that celebrates the past.
