-- Pitchfork: Mavis Staples on working in the studio with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy: "Jeff would have a caterer come in there every day. The caterer would set up and every day he would bring food, we could tell them what we wanted and they'd bring it in. We'd start smelling food, but Tweedy would tell us, 'Now listen, nobody gets to eat. We gotta finish this song.'"

-- The Guardian: Keith Richards will release an album of Rastafarian spirituals with his Stones side project, Wingless Angels. The album, Wingless Angels II, is due Sept. 23.
