Symphony Space The link between creativity and mental health is the subject of a performance and discussion on Saturday at 8 p.m. featuring the singer-songwriter Susan McKeown and Kay Redfield Jamison, author of “Touched With Fire: Manic-Depressive Illness and the Artistic Temperament”; in her new recording, “Singing in the Dark,” Ms. McKeown incorporates the writings of noted poets who were given diagnoses of depression. Paul Holdengräber, director of LIVE From the NYPL, a talk and performance series sponsored by the New York Public Library, will be the moderator. The library is one of the sponsors of Saturday’s event, along with the Irish Arts Center.
