“There is a crack in ev ery thing.” And singer-songwriter Susan McKeown says, “That’s how the light gets in.” Grammy winner McKeown’s latest album, “Singing in the Dark,” attempts to counterbalance the stigma of mental illness by choosing words of other writers who have dealt with the topic, some of whom committed suicide. McKeown breathes new life into the words of Theodore Roethke, Gwendolyn Brooks, Leonard Cohen and many others. McKeown appears at 9 p.m. today at the WOW Hall.
