2010 Holiday Events Guide

In the final weeks of the year, there is no shortage of holiday entertainment in north central Wisconsin. Following are among the offerings:

Rish Christmas

Fiddler Eileen Ivers will bring in the holiday season with her yearly Irish Christmas tour. She will perform traditional holiday favorites that have been passed down from generations. Known as the Jimi Hendrix of the violin, Ivers transmits her deep love of tradition to hard-core fiddle-shredding in high-intensity performances with her band, Immigrant Soul. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Grand Theater, 415 Fourth St., Wausau.
