Cuban-American singer/songwriter and guitarist Jorge Navarro embraces both sides of his hyphenated identity in the Cuban Cowboys, a bilingual San Francisco quintet that brings the rollicking energy of rock to Cuban-inflected songs about the shady characters, wayward lovers and exhibitionists he's encountered through stories of old Havana or on his own New York adventures. On Friday, the band celebrates the release of the new, Greg Landau-produced album "Diablo Mambo."
