Bloomington, Indiana gathers the world into Hoosier Town with the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival. Part street fair, carnival procession and block party, you’ll find everything from Swedish hip hop to Balkan funk.

David Wax Museum’s eclectic sound, with roots in Mexico and the U.S. will open up a new world of music to you. To the Swedish music group Väsen, Bloomington is a home-away-from home, so much so that a street was temporarily named after them. Don’t miss their homecoming.

Red Baraat’s raucous Indian bhangra and funky brass will get you dancing, and Canadian band The Once combines perfect vocal harmonies and uncomplicated elegant acoustic melodies.

Lotus in the Park is a free program of activities including live performance, workshops and demonstrations, art camp, and the Rhino’s Lotus Story Booth where you can document your Lotus experiences.
