Global Drum Project @ Harris Theater

The names involved in the Global Drum Project speak for themselves: Mickey Hart, Zakir Hussain, Sikiru Adepoju, and Giovanni Hidalgo, four of the most well respected percussionists on the planet. Mickey Hart is best known as the drummer for the Grateful Dead; Zakir Hussain is a virtuoso tabla player; Sikiru Adepoju is a Nigerian drummer known as a master of the talking drum; and Giovanni Hidalgo is one of the best conga players to walk the earth.
