Spirituals, hymns, carols, sonatas, kids tunes, classics and "Nutcracker" favorites — all these are well-represented in this year's holiday music offerings.

* "An Nollaig: An Irish Christmas," Eileen Ivers (Compass): Ivers, who grew up in the Bronx, fiddles her way through 11 yuletide classics. She turns "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" into a playful jig, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" into a rousing reel and even gives Bach an Irish lilt with an interpretation of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring."

Eileen Ivers is scheduled to perform Sunday at Berrie Center, Ramapo College, Mahwah (ramapo.edu).
