Celtic fiddler Eileen Ivers spreads early holiday cheer with her 2010 Christmas tour, "An Nollaig: An Irish Christmas," which lands in Bay Shore, Long Island on Wednesday night. At the show, expect to hear Ivers putting her own spin on traditional Irish songs of St. Stephen’s Day, which is celebrated on December 26th, and on classical favorites such as Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.” Ivers adds that local Celtic dancers and choir members will join her touring ensemble for the performance: “We’re involving the community as we go around to theaters. It’s always a delight and creates this special connection to the show.” On "Hark, The Hearld Angels Sing," Ivers and company put a jig into this American carol.
