Spiritual Rez & Dub Is A Weapon

To celebrate Spring, Spiritual Rez is teaming up with Dub is a Weapon and Gentlemen Hall to fill downstairs at The Middle East, Boston with roaring guitar, whirling synths, heavy kicks, and a spectrum of reggae/funk/electro grooves.

While Rez continues to tour behind their incendiary full-length Nexus, Dub is a Weapon will have just released Vaporized, an exploration of in-studio live dubbification that succeeds in turning the sound into a dance-oriented reggae punch.

In 2009, Gentleman Hall received a nod from MTV as a breakout band to watch out for, and while they depart from the reggae sound Rez and Dub bring to the night, their Owl City-style electro pop will start the dance party with rock flute and funk xylophone. (Like, what? Yeah, you heard me.)
