Drawing upon rural farmer traditional standards, Eliades Ochoa is one of Cuba's most prized musician. His songs often are bouncy upbeat numbers with loads and loads of Latin-fused guitar strumming. Merging the influences of sones, guarachas, trova, and guajiras with more traditional folk rock, Ochoa has to be considered a timely and brilliant artist. This vintage sound will never grow old no matter what future generation gets a hold of it.
