KLEMATICS
8pm, Cedar Street Courtyard Self proclaimed "Jews with horns," this jazzy, New York-based sextet has found many ways to transcend the Yiddish ghetto, recently working with the Woody Guthrie Foundation to write accompainments for the father of American folk music's lost Jewish lyrics. Suprisingly danceable, innovative, and inspiring, the Klematics delivered 2005's Brother Moses smote the Water (Piranha), the world's first Jewish gospel album.
