Orchid Trio's Asian music in Kent Stark concert

Orchid Ensemble

The Orchid Trio, whose innovative sound updates Asian musical traditions, will appear in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Main Hall Auditorium at Kent State University Stark Campus in Jackson Township. Admission is free. Founded in 1997, the trio includes  Lan Tung on the erhu (Chinese violin), Haiqiong Deng on the zheng (Chinese zither) and Jonathan Bernard on percussion.
