A World of Music Globalfest, the one-night smorgasbord that for three years has given attendees a taste of the best in world music as well as an intimate tour of the back stairways of the Public Theater, is returning on Jan. 21 and moving to Webster Hall, the dance and rock club on East llth Street. Among the performers appearing on three stages throughout the club - giving patrons a new set of stairs to get to know are the Brazilian singer-songwriter Lenine; Dengue Fever, a band from Los Angeles that resurrects the little-known psychedelic rock of pre-Khmer Rouge Cambodia; the Colombian singer Lucia Pulido; Les Primitifs du Futur, a French Gypsy-jazz band; Sara Tavares, a singer from Cape Verde; Andy Palacio and the Garifuna Collective, from Belize; and Le Trio Joubran, three oud-playing Palestinian brothers.
