Sauti Sol - bio from Last.fm
Sauti Sol is currently one of Kenya's most popular bands, with their debut album "Mwanzo" as the highest selling CD in 2009 in Kenya. Bien-Aime Baraza, Willis Chimano, Delvin Mudigi and Polycarp Otieno met in high school and originally started as an accapella group. In 2005, after clearing their O-levels, they decided to take up music professionally. Musically, their inspiration comes from the music of Fadhili Williams, Daudi Kabaka and other established African artists such as Salif Keita and Lokua Kanza. 03/19/12 >> go there
